Isobar Acquires Brazilian Communications Services Company Age

Leading Digital Player Continues to Build its Presence in Latin America

Isobar, the world’s largest digital network, announced today that it has acquired Age in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Age is a communications agency that specializes in trade marketing, sports marketing, creative, and online and offline media planning and buying. With nearly 60 employees, Age was founded in 2000, and today its major clients include adidas, Del Valle, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ultragaz, Taeq and Lopes.

“Our company has watched Isobar closely and we are very impressed with the creativity, strategic vision and global reach of the organization,” said Ana Lucia Serra, President of Age. “We believe that joining this group will provide us with increased resources and services for our clients.”

Commenting on the acquisition, Isobar CEO Nigel Morris, said: “The Brazilian market represents almost 40% of the total Latin American advertising market and has grown at an average of 18% annually from 2002 to 2007. With this acquisition, we continue our growth in the Latin American region. This market is strategically important to our company and we are committed to further expansion.”

Isobar, is a part of Aegis Media, whose presence in Brazil contributed to a quadrupling of revenue from Latin America in 2007, and an increased number of international clients we service in this key regional market. The acquisition of Age follows Isobar’s acquisition of AgenciaClick, Brazil’s largest independent digital agency, in 2007.
