MAIP provides member agencies nationwide with the opportunity to meet up-and-coming multicultural advertising talent. Through the program, agencies select college students from ethnically and racially diverse backgrounds to complete 10-week, paid summer internships. MAIP interns gain practical work experience, while participating agencies gain access to an effective way to source promising entry-level candidates.
Interns are available to work in the following advertising agency departments:

- Art Direction
- Copywriting
- Broadcast/Print Production
- Digital/Interactive Design
- Media Planning/Buying
- Project Management
- Public Relations
- Strategic/Account Planning
- Traffic
