AAAA Board Meets With Key Pollsters, Pundits and Politicos 

The AAAA Washington office recently hosted a two-day meeting in Washington for members of the AAAA Board of Directors, Government Relations Committee and Hispanic Committee.

The annual meeting includes special briefings for Board and Committee members as well as formal business meetings for the groups.

Among the speakers at the 2008 event were pollsters Peter Hart and Neil Newhouse, authors of the NBC/Wall Street Journal poll, who provided an in-depth look at the latest poll numbers for the 2008 presidential election.

New York Times columnist David Brooks met with the group during a dinner meeting at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery. Final speaker for the event was Rep. Rahm Emanuel, Chair of the House Democratic Caucus.
