2007 Year in ReviewOver the past year, major AAAA activities spanned six national conferences, including the AAAA's first-ever "Digital Conference for Agencies," numerous regional events emcompassing AAAA Forums, creative symposiums, and seminars, the launch of a well-received series of management-oriented Webinars, the continued success of AAAA Diversity Programs including a record number of students who participated in our Multicultural Advertising Intern Program, the publication of more than 20 new booklets, and a successful fourth year of Advertising Week.

This year has been a challenging and complex one for our industry, with issues incluiding continued examination of agency compensation; the impact of digital on media and talent recruitment and retention; ongoing scrutiny on DTC advertising; and economic unease. This "Year in Review" highlights some of the significant activities and initiatives that the AAAA undertook on our members' behalf to address these and other challenges.
