Five Things You Should Know About AAAA.org

Interactivity

Currently, users can sign up for an account to register for events, rank/recommend articles to other members, save key content to MyNotebook, and select areas of interest based on agency disciplines.

In the future, this interactivity will serve as the backbone for increased collaboration opportunities, including AAAA committee extranets and social networking for all interested in the industry.

Industry News

The AAAA makes available not only the very latest association press releases, but also archives member bulletins and tags the content for easy searching and sorting. In addition, the site makes available news from our member agencies and draws from RSS feeds of industry blogs and AAAA SmartBrief. Going forward, these news elements will also be available via personalized RSS feeds to signed-up users.

Research and Publications

Information has been restructured on the new AAAA.org to provide members with key facts, figures, and best practices in only a few clicks. These include hundreds of different publications in the AAAA Bookstore, Facts of the Day, position papers, research “essentials,” agency job descriptions, and consultants/suppliers. Most of these features are specifically reserved to “members only.”

Thought Leadership from Prior Events

A wealth of informative content and concepts can be had from the many AAAA conferences and Webinars held throughout the year. These events are now archived with links to all of the information, speeches, Webcasts/podcasts, and news right from the program for participants and members to relive.

AAAA Agency Search

The backbone of the AAAA is its membership, and the new AAAA Agency Search is the definitive way to find AAAA agencies. The function is open to all visitors—marketers, advertisers, students, press, the general public—and features an intuitive interface with multiple search options (location, specialty services, staff, clients/brands, keywords) and the ability to save search results and compare agencies directly.

For members, the new service offers a default “basic” profile (name/address) and the opportunity to expand profiles to include a wide array of searchable, distinctive information (ownership, national/global service regions, staff size and bios, clients and brands, billings and revenue, media placed, experience, service offerings). Further, the site has helpful hints and flags to note incomplete sections.
